Photos by Randy T. Fujimori For four consecutive weekends, volunteers from Bank of Hawaii got to work on helping a Papakolea family realize their dream of a better home. Bank of Hawaii's team of approximately 55 volunteers worked to help rebuild the Franks' residence that has been home to four generations of family members. This marks the first time a Hawaii-based company has adopted an entire month of build days for Honolulu Habitat for Humanity. Bank of Hawaii helped kick off Habitat for Humanity's first day of work on the Frank home last August with a ground breaking ceremony in celebration of Hawaii's first Community Build Day. These hardworking volunteers helped Honolulu Habitat for Humanity get one step closer to eliminating substandard housing on Oahu.
